Catlytic Converter

I'm looking to replace my "cat" to improve horsepower and cause my 96 GA SE has 190,000 miles. Does anyone know the diameter of a stock 96 GA SE "cat"??

Shot in the dark, I'm guessing 2" O.D. They might be able to tell you at the auto parts store. Because they probably have specs on a replacement cat for your car.

Re: Catlytic Converter

There are times when I walk in to an auto parts store and get so wrapped with all things I could buy for my car but shouldn't that I forget what I went in there for in the first place. LOL
