Programming Keyless Entry FOB for ZJ's

Anyone have a clue how to program a keyless door FOB for a 98 ZJ. I hate the nazi jeep dealership around here, and would rather stick my dic in a meat grinder than pay them. Please help, help me from not paying those Nazi's fuks.

Pull out the meatgrinder bro. I tried every trick on here to do my own to no avail. Had to run it to my local dealer and they did it. I posted a similar thread about 2 months ago and did some reasearch on older threads, just short of waving a dead chicken over my GC, there was a lot of "try this" and "do that"'s. In the end, the dealer won out and I threw 50 bucks at em to make the nightmare end.

I work for the plant that makes the Keyless entry FOBS for the Jeep as well as many other makes of vehicles. In fact, I am a quality technician in charge of repairing the FOBS and receivers that come back from the field for all of our vehicle platforms, and there are quite a few. I have all the equipment to program Fobs to receivers in my lab, but that won't help you. However, I have a document that shows how to program new FOBS IN THE VEHiCLE for several different platforms. and I will send you a scan of the document. It may help. It doesnt have the ZJ platform on it, but it does have the KJ, WJ and XJ procedures for the Grand Cherokee on it, and I believe the ZJ procedure id the same. By the way, you can program up to 4 FOBS to the receiver max.

Let me know if you or anybody else is interested. I agree that the dealership is ripping everybody off big time. Did you know that the Fobs only cost us less than $5 each to make? we sell them to the car manufacturers for only about $7. THEY sell them to you at the dealership for 10 times that much!!
