Just wanted to say what's up

This is my first time posting with you guys, but I just wanted to say HI. I am working on getting a 90 240sx with no engine, and plan on putting the s13 engine in it. hopefully if it all goes well it will be around 360 whp like my 300zx tt I just sold. I think i may have gotten my hands on some s15 injectors and turbo for it. These should work, right??

Hello, and welcome to AF! It's great to have another 240SX enthusiast aboard.

As for the S15 SR20 parts being used on an S13 SR20, you may need to watch out when it comes to the factory ECU. As always, I suggest you contact an aftermarket ECU programmer such as Jim Wolf Technologies.

My deal on the 240 has had a minor setback, basically I quit my job, so it is getting postponed. Today I helped get a s15 egnine, tranny and all the bits and peices off the delivery truck, looks like someone in town is gonna have a new toy, lucky bastard, but man, I peeked around at it, it is a really nice setup. It is going in a '96 240

Quick! Throw it back in the truck and take off! :hehe: Boy, that would have been a sight to see: the heart and soul of the final real Silvia.

man it's a sweet looking setup, hopefully i can get started on one. I used to own a 300zx TT, I would like the 240sx to put out similar #'s, the 300zx was 367hp and 393tq, not bad, ut in a lighter car it would be awesome. Here is some pics of the s15 engine:

Wow! I really dig the close up of the SR's turbo.

Boy, the numbers for the VG30 are really sweet--perfect for road racing. The only problem is that I doubt an I-4t will be able to duplicate the torque readings that the Z produced. Still a great engine, the SR is genuinely indominable.

I just think it would be a nice little street/track car, 240 with 300+tq and a good suspension setup and some sticky tires. and it is a fairly accomplishable goal from what I've read about sr20det's.
