Proud New Owner!!
i just got the new scion tc friday night, and i must say it's a sweet ass car. It's just so much better than the honda civic's i'm used to driving. the tc's faster, handles better, has a smoother ride, and most importantly: manual transmission. i don't understand why people aren't buying these cars instead of other economy cars. this thread is now officially a rant, but i'm just so excited about this car!! OMG! i can't get over about how much faster this thing is than any other car i've driven, thanks to the camry's 2.4L inline 4 and the solara's substructure. ooooh man is this car sweet. if any of you are considering buying a new car for under 20 grand, SERIOUSLY consider buying a tc. it's just a fantastic car.

I guess the only thing you'll miss about your civic's though is the mileage they got. The Tc just can't even start to get what the civic's get. That's the only thing I have against them. But then again, a Tc could whoop a civic ex flat out.

lol handling compared to a civic? yea its better, not compared to the SI tho
the tc has a 61/39 weight distribution and it also uses the avensis from europe's substructure, or whatever u said doesn't use the solara's but enjoy the car, i liked it when i testdrove it, still haven't bought mines, the trunk could use a lil more room

hey congrats on the car. Throw the supercharger on the car when it comes out and then you will really know what performance is.
