Question for Kunny'z Chaser

Hello,

I just recieved this kit today. It is the drift series Kunny'z D1 drift Chaser. My question is what color is the paint on the car? I would like suggestions as to what spray can paint color I should use for it.

Re: Question for Kunny'z Chaser

You might want to use Tamiya Mica Red over black primer?

By the way how does the kit look? Is it nice?

Re: Question for Kunny'z Chaser

Hey,

Thanks guys! I don't know how accurate it is, but the kit looks good to me. I do not have a camera, but here are some pics from 1999.
Most of the parts are form the other chaser kits. There are the drifting seat and body kit parts that are different and the decals look great. The front bumper is a new seprate piece, the rear, you have to glue it ontop and I suppose do some bodywork to make it look good.

Re: Question for Kunny'z Chaser

im with RB26. mica red over black primer would match the colour as close as anything else. to my knowledge the colour is a custom mix by marooiza (sp?). but i might be wrong (im renowed for it according to my dad)
hope it helps, WIDE

Re: Question for Kunny'z Chaser

Hey,

Thanks a bunch! I'm gonna choose the mica red over black. It's not going to be painted for a while...long line in front of it. Hehe

Thanks,
Frank X.

Re: Question for Kunny'z Chaser

Hey,

Thanks alot! I lookrd on hlj for the cranberry red paint but it was discontinued. I only buy from them, but also, I would need the paint to be in spray can because I have no airbrush. Thanks again tho.

Thanks,
Frank X.
