Can I use the factory cd player to install subs and a amp on my 2001 s10?

negative, the factory cd player does not have a sub out needed to plug the amp into

Yes you can use it.You will need a line converter.It's a little box that you can hook to your speaker wires and it converts the high level signal to a low level pre amp signal.Then you run a rca cable to a amp.

why bother, the factory deck has no setting in it for sub out puts, if you are willing to put a amp and sub in replace the deck as well, in the end it will sound way better

Thanks for the Info, anyone know anybody from Florida, the Pasco County area?
Tampa Bay, Im trying to find some ppl, I just got mky truck and im new to the world. I used to have a civic, so I was into the Import Gay world.....lol
