Re: where to buy an automatic transaxle
I have an acquaintance who operates a scrapyard and I know he has at least 2 Transport at hand. I'll check with him and also with a local transmission overhaul shop and come back later....1 C$ calls for 0.63 Euros...

Re: where to buy an automatic transaxle
AS NEW - from GM dealer - rebuilt to original specs by GM: C$ 3000. including taxes ! More than the caris worth
Rebuilt by local transmission shop: C$2000 including taxes Still expensive Salvaged and checked: C$650. + 15% tx Think this is very high expenditure, considering shipping, import taxes...etc. I would go for a repair job......once the unit is off the car and on the table, I'd consider the worst is done..the rest is patience and some skill. I'll ask for a "standard" overhaul kit price...and come back on this |

Re: where to buy an automatic transaxle
hello i"m in France and the price for the complete transmission is expansive , i thought that it could be cheaper from US dealer, Actually the dollar is low in regards of euros. I went to car-parts but i didn't find a complete transmission
If you have an idea about a dealer thank you |
