Question question for cav

hey you guys i have a question. if you take the 2.2 l4 to a shop and let them start from the block i mean the whole 9 yards performance every thing cam rockers everything even bore and stroke. do you think with turbo super or any thing you can add to increase the horses exept nos. do you think you can get 350 horsepower with that engine.

Re: question for cav

not gonna happen, if they fully build the engine, forged pistons, cams, bore and stroke, port and polish, with a supercharger and some major dyno tunning time, i think you could see around 250-300WHP.

Re: question for cav

Maybe, if you put in 4 bolt mains so you can run nitromethane and a supercharger.

Re: question for cav

There would not be anything left but the block for sure. Even then it is doubtful, probably just blow the block apart.

Some of the old Offies did it but they had a lot more metal in the cylinder walls and bottom end. Not to mention running on alcohol.
