Smile!!!...click!!!

This is a little off topic but i am keen to know what some of u are using to take the pics of your models that you are posting here. Im assuming that they are digital camera's right? Which digi camera do u use and are they all suitable for taking close-up pics like u can do with a SLR camera?

I'm using 1.3 Mega Pixel Olympus, which I bought three years ago. It's still my primary camera for web publishing. The highest resolution is 1280x1024, so it's more than enough for the internet. It has macro mode, so I can get as close as 10 cm or so, which is convinient to take a photo of a model.
Two complaints are that it doesn't have optical zoom feature, and that the battery life is way too short. Anyone who's thinking of buying a digicam, do not buy one without zoom, and also check and see if it has a built-in internal rechargeable battery.

Logitech Quick Cam. I would NEVER buy one of these cheap pieces of crap. Can you say blurry and out of focus.

SLR Nikon N65. It has great aperture range which is very importand for sharp model shots. Howewer stock 28-80mm lens not enough for very big closeups. I'm thinking about something like 150mm telephoto lens.

Hmm, they must cost a bomb. I'd love to get one but they are just a little expensive for me.

olympus 3020 digi cam with 3.2 megapixels. i can take closeups with mine just push the button with the flower and it will focus for closer shots. the battery life is only short on mine if i always use the lcd screen. but it lasts longer if i just use the view finder.
