Radio Problem

I have a 1987 oldsmobile 442. Im restoring it back to original condition and one problem i have is the radio. When you turn the switch the clock display lights up. Then if you turn the power on to the radio the anttena rises and thats it theres no sound opur anything. The clock seems to be frozen and you cant set it. Its read 2:05 for the last 2 weeks. Only twice has it come on and that is what is puzzling me. IT comes on when it wants. So any suggestions on how to solve this problem would be apprecitated. Thanks

Jeff
