Yeah, I got in despite the fact there were about 100 middle schoolers as well in the theatre.
The acting and directing isn't top notch, but as far as scary movies go I think Wan did a great job. Good suspense, gore, and genuine thrills. As far as I could tell without actually seeing The Grudge, Saw is the better candidate for scarier Halloween movie.

SAW was just disturbing. That ending kicked some serious ass though.

The plot and twists were cool, but the truly scary part of the movie was the bad acting.

i liked the plot but the acting was bogus, the doctor in particular can't act. i wasn't all that thrilled and left feeling kinda disappointed. it wasn't totally bad, but it could have been better. i expected it to be more like Texas Chainsaw Massacre

I think seven is WAY more disturbing than saw. The only thing good about it was the ending, man did the ending kick ass. I didn't even come close to expecting that.
