Thumbs up Electric fan conversion

Fitted a flex-a-lite electra fan 2, about a month ago .WOW what a difference,got it off ebay for 45pounds .my jeep now runs smoother much queiter and with more economy !!! can`t think of a better conversion ...

I did a similar conversion. I used a fan from a 91 Ford Taurus. I've been pretty happy with it as well.

The fan in the 91 Tarus is that a single or double fan and what kind of mods did you have to make. Ive read other forums where they recomend using the Tarus fan system.

It is a single fan. It is also used in the Mark VIII. Sometimes people refer to it as that. Here is a decent write-up with some pictures. http://jeephorizons.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=266 I ended up going with the DC controller anyway. It's been working really well for what I need it for(I'm not the best at wiring relays and I don't do deep water crossings). Let me know if you decide to do it and I can tell you what worked for me.
