Quality JDM lowering

I know that Dejoux has some horror stories about the roof of his Del Sol, so I thought I'd post mine. I mentioned the chicken-wire air-filter, here's the springs that came on my SiR:

L-R: Front, rear compared to stock SiR springs (front SiR springs were chopped so they are really taller than in this pic). Note the heavy duty wire but proper winds.

Front spring SiR (chopped) plus heavy duty front spring

Rear heavy duty rear spring, stock SiR rear spring

Ride height with heavy duty springs:

Ride height with higher Jamex progressive rate springs and struts. Height is for clearance issues I occasionally had.

When we calculated the HD springs out based on turns, width, diameter etc, we got 400 pounds per spring. The struts that came on the SiR were Tanabes and were stuffed - it took maximum effort to expand them, even though they were gas struts

I've seen worse installations on cars from Japan though. Weird that their backyard jobs really seem to suck.

LOL I did wonder but wasn't going to say anything

Actually, I've used both the pics of the SiR before. Of course, if someone got some certain pics scanned then there'd be some new pics to post.

Or don't you have access to an automatic scanner?

Need to have web pages open, because of customers calling in and we need to look up yellowpages stuff, and do yahoo searches, plus our work intranet for network stuff.

Neighbour tan has scanner, may attempt to get them scanned tomorrow, if I can put up with him. He came over today to get a DVD back. Depends on whether I'm in the mood to visit "Princess Tan"

Well I've always thought he was a bit both ways...he's very intouch with his feminine side. Likes antique furniture. Has a 4 poster bed, with the lacey stuff, and pillows etc, (this is why I call him princess)

Plus then there's his interest in perfumes???

I'm refering to your "sensitive new age guys". Some people you meet it is so obvious, that you could walk all over them. I hate the really adoring type. Has to be some witty interaction...not just "hey honey....what would you like to get you"

I know of friends who in this type of relationship and I'm like :apuke:

Same here - usually I get on with people who give as good as they get and live for the witty riposte than "sweetness and light".

Not that you would have guessed that
