help on engine

91 ranger check engine light comes on when i get moving, it comes on somewere in second gear and doesn turn off till i turn engine off, i did paint my mass air flow sensor a while back and i never noticed it before, but i didnt get any paint in the inside, only out side, what should i do to fix my little problem with light
