89 Suburban remote start

So, I bought a remote starter awhile back and am attempting to install it in my 89 suburban. I am having trouble finding the ignition, accessory, and starter wires. They are supposed to be pink, oarnge, and yellow or purple.

I started testing lots of wires those colors in the general area of the steering colum underneath the dash, but none of them seemed to be the right wires. I have taken off the dash and the gauges, but i still cant seem to find them. There are so many wires coming out of the colum, and there are even more way back there that I can not reach. I was thinking of pulling the wheel and looking at the ignition switch, but there is sooo much stuff i would have to take off to get to it.

Does anyone know an easy way to find the wires, or how to get to them?

Thanks
