how much hp do i have

ive got a 1991 ford ranger with 2wd, 4 cylinder and 5 speed manual, how much hp does it have, i think its either a 2.0 or a 2.3, i need help on this couse im trying to get he true dyno readin from stock engine hp to what i agve now. thanks

I used to own a 91 2.3l and stock horsepower is 140, but who knows how much it could be after the years have passed

Its a 2.3 and it has 100hp@4600rpm and 133fpt@2600rpm

Um..sorry bud, but the stock 2.3's only crank out 100 ponies at the wheels

At 1983-1985 they cranked out 79hp @ 3800rpm
At 1986-1988 they cranked out 90hp @ 4000rpm
At 1989-1995 they cranked out 100hp @ 4600rpm
At 1996-1997 they cranked out 112hp @ 4800rpm
In 2002 they cranked out 135hp @ 5050rpm
And in 2003-2004 they cranked out 143hp @ 5250rpm

I suggest you get your specs right before you post.

Indeed they did. They made those engines from 86 to 92.
