Injector contol circuit SES light code??

Hi,
I had a code read today that gave me the message:Injector control circuit.It's a 2wd 1998 S-10 with a 2.2 liter TBI. He never gave me any code number just said to check the wiring going to the injector and also said it could be the driver that runs it.I'm kind of lost on most of this so any direction you guys could give me on where to start looking or what tests i could do myself would be greatly appreciated.
