Al-Jazeera broadcasts bin Laden tape

bin Laden tape

And here is the number one reason I will be voting for Bush this year. As the father of a 16 year old son that could potentially be over there in uniform in 2 short years and as the uncle of several nephews that are already in uniform I cannot in good conscience cast a vote for Kerry. In my opinion Kerry just does not have what it takes to deal with this and Bush has already demonstrated that he will stand his ground and do what is necessary to battle terrorism no matter what world opinion dictates.

I will not be able to look my son in the eye on the morning after the election if I do not cast my vote for Bush.

Bush is a shithead. Trust me, your son and family will be safer if they aren't there, because all bush is going to do when he finishes is going to push onto Iran and N. Korea. Believe me, I'm 17. Im nervous as hell, and I just dont' trust bush, because he isn't running the cabinet, Cheney is.

How exactly are we going to be safer? If Kerry pulls everyone out, the terrorists will just bring the war over to our land. And you are "nervous as hell" over what?

kerry's plan isnt to pull everyone out, you just cant do that, his plans are so the war isnt gonna last as long, which is gonna be hard. wheres the evidence that the terrorist responsible for it(bin laden) is in iraq? more than likely, evidence points to the mountains in afganistan, thats where we should be mainly looking.

Osama wants Kerry in office. Gee, I wonder why. Does anyone here really believe that the Muslims will stop? If so, about that bridge I'm selling.......

Hmm, what could I be nervous about. Take your head out of your ass and realize that I am one year away from being legally drafted. Do you think I am sitting pretty here? No, I'm nervous that I'm going to be sent off to sandland to fight a pointless war. Trust me, terrorism will not change no matter who is in office.

What a wuss. You are telling me you sit around scared and nervous because you think you may have to go fight for your country? There is going to be no draft. Maybe if you paid attention to actual news instead of what you hear in highschool you'd know that. That is THE stupidest reason to vote for Kerry.

Welcome to the forum bob!

All Bush has actually demonstrated is that he is prepred to 'talk the talk' while his marines 'walk the walk'.In real terms,he has sentenced 100 of your sons to die ,and 7000+ to be crippled for life, and not brought one single terrorist to account for the WTC attacks...

or found any WMD.

Are you labeling the entire religion or just the "extremist?"

You are also several years away from knowing what you're talking about.

At this point I'm not sure who the "extremists" are. I come down on the side of caution and would say that they are all suspect, either by action or lack of action. One thing is certain, so far, all the terrorists flaunt their Islamic religion, and cite it as their number one motivation in their war against us. They labeled it, we didn't. And they couldn't function without a lot of support from the people that inhabit the same areas. Look at Fallujah, for instance. 2,000 Al Queda, a lot of them imported muslims, running free in the city while millions of armed residents do nothing. If you aren't part of the solution then you're part of the problem. I see no middle ground, either they are for Al Queda or against it. If they are really against it, the do something about it. Just don't sit on your ass and watch a bunch of US Marines walk into an ambush.

But where is your proof on that? CNN or Fox? My fam. is from Iraq and all Falluja want is peace. Believe me if there is any foreign arabs using the name of Islam as an excuse to kill...Fallujans will handle them or any good muslim. The ppl in Falluja are Saddam's former army fighting or just Iraqis that simply doesn't want the Americans there. Not "AL - Queada" or Abu Zarqawi which i think its Americas bogey man. I see no proof in the media or whatever evidence they presented us is not enough in my eyes. Look at Hitler. He did it in the name of Christianity of killing innocent jews. Remember terrorist are humans like you and I. Therefore anyone or any religion or no religion can take aggressive actions towards anyone or any nation.

The marines are having a hard time combatting the terrorists yet you want civilians to do it? Please tell me how a civilian can help without risking his/her and their families lives? As far as labeling all Muslims extremists, then I say to you that all Christian's are racists, sexist ect. Blaming it all on one group. See the logic here?

1.When you don't enter a warzone, you're much safer.
2.Kerry isn't going to pull out.
3.If you can translate what Bin Laden was saying in the tape, he says that he is surprised by the American people because Bush is deceiving them and that gives the terrorists further reasons to attack. Bush being in office threatens the US in more reasons than one now.

That's your opinion on the tape, mine is that Osama wants Bush in office just to motivate his followers on more attacks.
And again, racists comments like that aren't needed. Please STFU and get your head outta your ass, thankyou have a nice day

Yes, I guess being afraid to enter such a warzone because some oil hungry bafoon wants to get richer is such a stupid reason not to go to war. I guarantee you that if the reasons behind the war were just, no one would turn down the oppurtinity to do something to help; hell, even other countries wouldn't be so hesitant. Voting for Bush because you think the country is gonna be safer/better is THE stupidest resons to vote for Bush.

I leave you all with this quote and will offer an e-cookie to the person who can trace it to it's author

"Your security is not in the hands of the cheif-in-command. Your security is in your hands. Stop meddling with other countrie's security- no one will meddle with yours"
