yup, you need to take apart the lens to get at it. Take a heat gun and melt the glue around the lens and pry it apart. Or preheat your oven to 350 degrees and put it in there for no more than 10-15 minutes and start to pry apart the headlight with flathead screwdrivier

Re: changing bulb angel eye headlight

yup, you can't get to the bulb without taking apart the headlight cause the bulb is in the ring.

BTW: didn't mean for that post to come off assholish, didn't think it would lol.

Re: changing bulb angel eye headlight

alright is the bulb in the halo burned out, or is it a headlight bulb? if it's a halo "bulb", good luck.

it is not the halo itself.....just the bulb....ya know lets say you turn on your headlights......one of them is burned out. and for the trouble, it still is nice to have the angel eyes....just got to find the right repair person - but for now, I will keep workin on it - thanks for all the input, this forum is awesome!

Re: changing bulb angel eye headlight

well if it's just the headlight bulb that's a snap. pull the black rubber cap off the back, press down on the metal spring tab and slide it out from under the hook holding it. swing it across to the other side(like opening a door) and slide the bulb straight out. pull the wire connecter off. installation is the reverse of removal.

Talking

Whoo Hoo! Ok, so I did it! I think it was just the fear of the unknown. I had to unscrew and lower body kit, unbolt headlight assembly (to get to rubber cap), pulled rubber cap off, unplugged the electrical connection, unhooked the silver clip, pulled bulb out........and yep, changed the bulb! Like I said, I think it was the fear of the unknown....Thanks to all for your help! You guyz are great!
