- "Sta-bil" fuel stabilizer is your best friend for your fuel system.
- If your leaving your Good rims and rubber on the car, get some square pieces of carpet for under each wheel to protect from flat spots on your wheels. - Car cover? - I have also heard of a bowl of baking soda on the floor to keep insects and rodents out. - And I always put an air freshener just to keep the smell in there kicken over the winter.

-change oil (and do it again when you take the car out)
-plug up the muffler and air intake so animals don't get in them -take the battery out and put it on a piece of wood hooked up to a trickle charge .....thats all I can think of...... |

Re: Storing REX for winter...any tips?
fuel stabilizer and unhook the battery it will be fine. Go out and crank it and let it run for 20 minutes or so about every two weeks to keep the battery charged.
By the way, putting carpet under your tires will not keep them from getting out of round.

our rex's arnt that heavy.i doubt the tires will get a flat spot.just look on the tire and put the air in tire close to max psi.winter isnt that long, and cars arent that sensitive.its a honda,it will be fine.oh yeah make sure to change the diper.

my tips for storing a car for the winter
1. fuel stabiliser 2. oil change 3. Keep a full tank of gas (keeps moisture out of the tank) 4. Plug up exhaust with rag 5. Crack windows to avoid stale air, and smells 6. put block in front and behind the wheels so car does not move, DO NOT USE E-Brake!!! 7. Unhook Battery I also give it a Good Cleaning before storing it, a good wax job too. protect it with a Car cover too. but that's just me. K

our cars here in florida don't get to hibernate lol
just be sure to crank it every week or so. you don't want all your seals to crack
