Weird noise when accelerating
Has anyone had any problems with weird nosies coming from the passenger compartment when accelerating. The noise was'nt really that bad when i first bought the truck ( used ) but i have put about 10,000 miles on it in the last 6 months and the noise is getting louder. I talked to the boys at the local parts house and they said i should flush the cooling system because the heater core in the 99 - 01 silverados where junk. So instead of flushing the whole system i pulled the hoses off of the heater core and flushed it and the noise was gone for about 2 days and then it returned. Anyone else have this problem? If so what to do to fix it? Last resort is to replace the core i guess..

Re: Weird noise when accelerating
I had a noise coming from behind the dash, sound like a gurgling sound, turns out that I have not heard it again since I repaired a leaking head gasket and refilled the coolant, did it at the daler and they put that darn death-cool in it again.
