Re: 3.8 and headers

yes, and in my opinion it was definitely worth it. so long as you dont get tubes that are too big, you wont loose any low-end torque, noticably anyways. the difference in sound for me was amazing, but i have a gutted cat so that makes a difference. the power gain was very noticable as well...

Re: 3.8 and headers

also, i havent searched on the 3.8 headers but the only options, other than custom, for the 3.4 is pacesetter or RKSport. the RKs arent street legal and the pacesetters for me were hell to put on. others have had better luck with the pacesetter but i cant in bring myself to recommend them to anyone...

Re: 3.8 and headers

When you gutted your cat, im assuming that caused problems with the post-cat 02 sensor??

And as far as I know, there are a few companies that make headers for the 3.8

Re: 3.8 and headers

This is what I've gathered from the camarov6.com boards
Most people have had a bad experiance with RKSport headers. Leaky flanges, bed fit, all that.
Pacesetters it seems many people like and don't get the problems the guys with 8s do.
Might get the pacesetters if the money gods look down with favor upon me
