Re: 02 gt power upgrades

yea, i actually toped mine out at about 105-110 somewhere in that range today. If you go w/ the dhp pcm, the govener will be lifted to like 200 or so, and you will also get a little more power. The dhp should be one of you first mods. its about 200-220 w/ 100 core.

Re: 02 gt power upgrades

Odin,
CPU would be a good mod. Brings everything together. You can get them at all GP store. You can even find them on Ebay.
And can you drop the picture at the bottom? It's cute, but we do have some young Ladies and some guys have small kids at set with them when them read these mesages.
Thanks.

I agree, ive got a 9yr old daugther and I dont really want to explain that picture to her.It comes soon enough.Im sure you would feel the same way if you had a child of that age.

Thanks

Re: 02 gt power upgrades

The CPU would be a real good start. Gas and air flow would do some good too. What I found on a GT, like the small block Chevy. LESS is better. Rockers and cam, way too early. Set of headers and Catback would be nice.
How much do you have to "play" with? Money is the start and finish to all mods.
Everybody loves to mod cars. When it doesn't cost us anything. Let us know.
Good luck

Re: 02 gt power upgrades

get a dhp pcm, and a shift kit. there is a web site that tells you how to hook up performace shift on your gt w/ a new pcm. if you want i could dig that up for you. all you need to do is get a shift knob off of a gtp, and run a wire or 2 to it. That would be the next mod i would do if i were you.

Re: 02 gt power upgrades

This guy had CPUs for a good price. Write him and find out what he wants, [email protected]
There's a guy on Ebay that sells shit kits for around $20 or $30. Have to look for him.
Good luck.

Re: 02 gt power upgrades

http://www.rivman.com/perfshift.htm there you go. if i were you i would just spend the extra money and get the pcm for your car, they program a specific vin into them, but its up to you.
