How much was the suspension improved, or was it?

I know that they stopped the 4 wheel double wishbone suspension and went for some front macpherson's up front, but how much different is it from the last 4 wheel wishbone civic? Is it more stiff, loose, is it funner to drive and can cut those corners better?

all the people i know curse the macpherson struts cause it's harder to do suspension work than with the wishbone suspension.

they didn't do too good of a job seeing that the front struts were leaking & popping very soon in the cars life.

I worked for Honda in the service department & in my opinion Honda's in general went down the drain starting with the '98 & up accords & '01 & up Civic's.

whoa, 6th gen accords had them? I just thought the 7th gen had them like the civics. Do u think honda will ever switch back to the old suspension in the future? I'm hoping from what you guys are telling me.
