keyless remote problems, HELP please

I have a 2001 GMC Sierra. I know my remote and receiver are working because I transferred both to another vehicle and programmed and it worked. On my vehicle, it will go into program mode but no matter how long I hold down the unlock/lock buttons it will never lock then unlock the doors. The only fuse I can find is the one under the hood, and it is good. I'm getting 12V to both orange wires and the ground is good to the black wire at the receiver. Any ideas would be appreciated, or if any one has the wiring diagram for the keyless system.

Thanks,
Gabe Livingston

hey man i have a 97 silverado and hooked up remote start alarm as well and had the same trouble.... you have to go buy a relay b/c 12V does not activate the locks. I got my relay from circuit city, but i'm sure anywhere that cary's car alarms will have them. The instructions on how to wire in the relay or on the package. It's really not hard at all to do. Let me know if this works or not for you.
