Exhaust mods

Hey guys,

looking at buying a new exhaust for the 1.8 4 door. Problem is that i might have to cut my body kit a bit. Are they easy to install yourself? Do i have to change the manifold if i buy a 4-2-1 exhaust system?

thanks

fahim

Re: Exhaust mods

4-2-1??? isn't that a header system??? uh.... well im not that well with those kinda stuff

anyway as for exhausts, its easy to install. turbobacks take more time (obviously). all you need is a set of socket wrenches and somthing to cut the exhaust with (ie dremel or air tool).

prop up the car, put it on jack stands, cut the exhaust (you should be able to tell where--hard to explain), unscrew all the bolts holding the exhaust up, loosen the clamp on the midpip/downpipe section then remove the stock exhaust. the install is exactly the opposite, minus the cutting
