Annoying sqeaky noise.

My S-10 Blazer, 4x4 has an annoying sqeaking noise that's loud enough to be heard a block away. It only happens from the initial acceleration and goes away shortly afterwards; it happens especially when pulling up a hill from stopped position and sometimes a rattle sound can be heard at the beginning. The noise is in unison with the cars accelaration.

Think I need a lube job or major parts worn?

check your accesory belt/s or your serpentine belt if you have that system. spray some wd 40 on the belt or pulley. if the noise goes away you found your problem. if you have one, check your belt tensioner. your belt/s should have ~ 80-100lbs of pressure on it.
