4g63 transmission

question!!!!! will a 1 generation 4g63 motor mate correctly to a 2 generation tansmission?

It will. One bolt hole on the 2g tranny wont be used. Be sure to use the starter plate and flywheel that matches the tranny. You can put a 2g tranny in a 1g with some ingenuity, but you cant put a 1g tranny in a 2g.

There are other issues associated with putting a 1g motor in a 2g car, I'm assuming you have read all the related info at www.magnusmotorsports.com and www.roadraceengineering.com? There is a bit of cutting, a bit of wiring, and that pain in the ass random misfire issue to worry about. Just want to make sure you are aware of it all.
