Need help with possible tranny problem?
does anyone have any ideas on a problem i am having....I have a 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier Z-24, 3.1L, 5spd, and when i initially start to move and when i shift it makes a bit of a clunking noise. I initially thought CV joints but they are fine as i have allready checked them. when i start out nice and easy there is no noise. If anyone has any info it would be much appreciated

Re: Need help with possible tranny problem?
well lets start with some basics...is the clutch fluid resovior filled? should be next to the brake master cylander... well atleast on newer cavs it is... is so then its time to get her up in the air and inspect your clutch and all that good stuff...buy your self a repair manual and have a go at it...
