actually, thats fuckin bad ass, need i remind anyone of the sheby cobra. took a lightweight import body and chassis, and threw a honkin american V8 into it and ate ferraris all day long. I applaud the guy who did that, and would love to see the timeslips for it, i guarantee it would eat most of the camaros on this board.

thats one ugly car that will whoop most of anything's ass. my buddy has an 88 rx-7 with a 91 turbo-II motor, and his car is the fastest in my hometown. you put a v-8 into a 2400 pound car and you get freakin results...

there is a fourm for v8 rx-7's. i cant remember wich one, none the less, great build. Anyone else notice he has a 700R4, yet says it is a manuel?

He prolly just means the fact that it has a slam shifter in it, which can be used like a manual. I think that's fuckin' awesome what he's done to that car but he must really love mazdas cause he coulda just bought a better car for the amount he musta poured into that thing

I think it is kind of ugly, but he sure has my respect for building it. I think it's pretty cool. He's says down towards the bottom that it was a typo, and it IS an automatic.

i understand that is a rotary, i was using it as a comparison. saying that the car is fast with a stock rotary, but if you put a v-8 with the 700r4 than the cars are rediculous. just trying to clear up any confusion that might be there...
