Re: Automatic to Manual Tranny Swap?

there's a mount that has to be welded on. That's all you have to change about the car's frame. Other than that, it's a direct drop in for the 5 speed. You need that mount, a welding tool of some sort to bolt it in, and a manual tranny as far as components go. You'll also need about a weekend and a good lift for your car, since it's gonna be up there for a while. It wouldn't hurt to have an engine hoist as well, just to keep you extra safe. You might wanna see about getting a gauge bezel from a 5 speed, as well.... not the gauges themself... just the black thing that goes around them. The one for an auto tranny has the cutout showing what gear you're in. The one for the 5 speed doesn't. Good luck, and I strongly reccommend keeping a how to VERY handy.

Re: Automatic to Manual Tranny Swap?

the tranny will come on an engine swap, or you can get one on ebay usually pretty cheap..... and the clutch pedal/the hydraulics that go with it are a BITCH
