83' Cutlass Supreme Brougham radiator hose problem ...

I have a 83' Cutlass Supreme Brougham with a 88' Cutlass Supreme V8 5.0L 307cid engine. I had my car inspected back in July and when it was returned to me , the top radiator hose was punctured causing antifreeze to squirt all over my engine. I went to buy a replacement, but the new hose does not match my original punctured hose. I checked the model number or serial number on the old and new hose and it matches perfectly. My problem is that I misplaced the old hose and the new top radiator hose does not fit properly. When I close the hood of my car, my fan harness pushes into fan causing a "clicking" sound everytime I push on the accelerator. Anyone has any idea of the proper hose that should fit on my 88' engine , perhaps an alternative hose from another GM car? Thanks in advance ...
