Dash Light Problems... HELP

I have a after market cd player installed and no my dash lights don't light up. I have checked all the fuses and tested them, the all have power.

maybe noone plugged the harness back in when putting the ''dash front'' back on. that will cause them not to work. doeds the cig lighter work? cause that part of same plug

The only thing that does not work are the lights in the dash i have even tried to see if the bulbs are blown, but they are not.

when u turn on your headlights does the stereo lights dim like there supposed to?

No they do not.

either the dimmer wire (on head unit) is hooked up to wrong place or that plug behind dash cover(big plastic cover in front of radio,hvac,& goes across to other side of sterring wheel) is not pluged in. that will keep dash lights from working & your dimmer on radio will not work (will stay bright all the time).
