no low beam head lights

anyone had problems with only their low beam headlights not working? I've checked the fuse, but am not sure how to tell if its blown. but i will probably replace it anyways. I am mainly asking if anyone else has had this problem and it lead into something else failing? I've noticed alot of electrical problems with this model in general.

any info would be appreciated.

Either both your bolbs are burnt or you have to change the hi/lo beam switch in steering column
