Reset Maint Req light with broken Trip reset

I have a 2001 Civic and the trip reset button is broke. Anyone know of a way to reset my Maint Req light without using the normal process?

or any common problems with this button I can fix without buying a new speedometer?

I solved my own problem. For those that ever run into this I ended up taking the cluster out and pulled the back panel to the circuit board off. I figured the button for the trip was bad so I took a paper clip (aka Special Service Tool...toyota term) and while the ignition was on and the cluster plugged in I jumped the button.....simulating that the button was pressed. That worked, so I held in on there for 12 seconds and the light went off. The trip still does not work, but I can deal with that.

No more maint light.
