Headlights Dont Work - 1991
91 Mustang - Headlights do not work when turned on. Highbeams come on when lever pulled back but turn off when lever released.
Parking, Turn, Hazard, and Tail lights work. Fog lights do not work. All fuses in Panel are GOOD. Any ideas? One mechanic says it may be related to an ignition switch recall.??? Is there a lowbeam/highbeam relay? If so where is it? |

Re: Headlights Dont Work - 1991
It probably is a relay. I don't know where it is exactly, but they're usually under the hood of the car near the firewall. There will be a bunch of fuses and a bunch of relays packed into a black plastic box. You should be able to test the relay with a Multi-Tester.

Re: Headlights Dont Work - 1991
Acutally it's one of two things. Either the headlight switch itself, or the multi-function switch (the directional switch).
