Madden NFL...

WTF... how does my brother manage to beat me 65-7!?!?!??!?! Even though I beat him with the same team TWICE like 2 days ago... but he's an ass and wanted to do it over because its for his franchise... so after having my QB throw EIGHT interceptions... I throw the controller and it hits the glass on the TV cabinet... now im screwed... parents are gonna have my ass

Re: Madden NFL...

You know that madden has cheat cards that your brother can play that can make him intercept more balls and you fumble more times and your receivers drop passes. Did he set up the game or did you?

Re: Madden NFL...

i have a theory that all EA games are that way. in this case i'm not so sure, but here's what i'm thinking.

in Need for Speed Underground, when you're up by more than 2 seconds going into the last lap, you can be all but certain that you will over/understeer into a car, hit what i like to call an invisible wall (kind of like a forcefield sort of deal around an object...you drive close but don't hit anything, but EA says you do) or you just get screwed over in some way. in this same situations, opponents with cars on the same level as yours seem to be able to take all corners at no less than 155 MPH while you can only pull 120 on a good day.

my point being in all of this that EA's version of "artificial intelligence" is to screw over the person when they start doing good. same thing happens in NBA Live 200x, but i won't get into that.

so, IMO, you've been EA Sports'd

Re: Madden NFL...

just get good at the game. its not that hard. ive gone through 4 seasons on madden right now im 5 games into the 5th on all madden.

I havent lost to one of my friends in about 3 years....just pick your own plays and know the plays your running.

I find most people just ask madden for plays, which is fine if your playing the computer, but if your playing a person the defense "madden" chooses wont work 95% of the time.

Just run 4wr sets and run slants or quick outs
