trouble in san andreas

I just got the game today but im having trouble modifying cars. I already passed the lowrider hopping mission and I was awarded the use of the mechanic shops but everytime i go to the shop the garage door doesn't open. I dont know if im supposed to do another mission to get it to open or if for some strange reason its just not working. If anyone has had this problem and has found out how to get the doors open please let me know what to do.

Re: trouble in san andreas

you can only mod low rider cars, like the one that is parked near the shop, and the ones that already hop.

ok, after you open your own garage you can then mod any car, its like the 40th mission or something.

Re: trouble in san andreas

Actually you don't hafta open your own shop. But you do hafta unlock another Mod Shop in the northern part of the Los Santos city. Not sure what mission it opens up on, but i know its no where close to the 40th.

Re: trouble in san andreas

I thin kyou can only mod certain cars. I can't mod some of the crappy ones but you can mod the Viper, RX-7, and Ferrari looking ones...I always forget they're real names.

Re: trouble in san andreas

There is a place north of the city, at the end of the city, near mullholland intersection (on the big hills near vinewood) that will mod just about any car, and it's better than that shit place. This place handles exhausts, to NOS

Only certain places can modify certain cars. The lowrider shop only does lowriders, the Wheel Arch Angels only does street racers, and the TransFender does mostly everything else.

Re: trouble in san andreas

Only modify the "low rider" cars. Such as blade. But transfender you can do practically any car except the low rider cars and the street racers (flash, sultan, uranus ect.)
