Motor Mounts

I saw a while back that people were filling their motor mounts with some type of liquid or something, but now I can't find that thread. Does anyone else know anything about this thread or how well this works? If you know where I can find more info. please point me in the right way. Otherwise does anyone know of any aftermarket mounts that might work? Thanks

Can't find or remember the exact thread either, but I can say that the OEM liquid filled motor mounts are your best bet. The reason is that the liquid filled mounts can absorb and minimize the engine vibration much better than the solid rubber ones. The solid ones will allow more vibration throughout the car and will become very annoying at idle and at stoplights.

This is what I heard but the point of having stiff engine mounts is to reduce engine movement on acceleration....Don't really know exactly how it works...but you can see your engine move when you blip the gas and the stiff mounts are supposed to keep the motor more in place...probably get a slight bit faster in response..

Stiffer mounts may give "slightly" better/faster response due to less play but I believe that the minuses far outweighs the pluses, even if you floor the gas all the time or have a turbo/supercharger on your G.
What mods do you have on your G?
