Question bodykit...

does anyone know how to take the tape off the doorcaps and side skirts...i got a used kit and the tape on one side does not stick....any ideas...and also what is a good substite for the tape...thanks

3m makes a good double sided adhesive. to get the tape off use something like a sticker remover prolly

yea heat it up with a heat gun or blow dryer (slower) and peel it off. or acetone will work

its just a polyurethane mugen body kit...i traded 2 17" rims for it with bald tires...its got a bunch of little wholes where he drilled but a little bondel should cover it....hehe...ima try that blow dryer...as soon as it stops raining...thanks...

for a totally different applicition. it was a play where we had to tape part of the backdrop and ton of black plastic to the floor with double-sided tape. fortunately it worked like a charm. that stuff stayed right where we put it dispite repeated walking over and over and over the floor. the bad news was that when we went to pull the double-sided tape up, it took up whole floor tiles with it!! that crap was strong! look for industrial strength carpet tape. what we didn't realize about it is that it is meant to be a permenant way to put carpet down. it just may do the trick for your kit. be careful if you decide to take it off one day, though.
