Engine Noise when Cold

Just purchased a 2004 TB and the engine sounds pretty "diesely" on start up - lots of "soft" noises, almost like tappets, nothing "hard" or harsh. After a couple of miles and it warms up, it's virtually silent. Anyone experiencing anything similar? The car has only 1600 miles on it.

I "hear" some noise too. Mine is like yours... after a few miles it's gone. I don't worry about it.
