Being tracked by the government is so cool! All the kids are doing it!

Man I am going to love it when the whole country has shit like this in their cars the police can use to track them, and the cops don't need to sit on the roads with radar anymore. It's like volunteering to be on a special "monitored by aircraft" speed trap list. I'll be the one hauling ass down the NY State Thruway with no gps, no cell phone, no on-star, and no ez pass. Just some maps and a bunch of quarters.

Hurry, everyone! Run out and buy all the satellite and cellular gear you can, so some day I can drive in peace.

If someone is so retarded that they can't read a map to figure where they're going, they probably shouldn't be driving a car anyway.

Wow! Cool! I never saw that before. It would probably be a PITA to get it to work right in a USDM civic, probably a nightmare waiting to happen. Looks real cool.

True, it would look real slick, but like I said it seems like a nightmare waiting to happen. Do you know someone/are you good with wiring aspect of it? Would you want the radio and GPS to work? Upon closer look it seems like some of the AM/FM controls are in Japanese. But then again if your a JDM buff that's a good thing, right? If it’s just the display for a video feed then it shouldn’t be a problem. If you do go thru with it keep us informed!

the radio won't work for sure. Japanese radio works on totally different frequencies than US radio.

JDM wannabe =

I'm sorry, but this JDM shit has gone way too far. Sure, hopefully I'll have another civic to toy around with by this summer, and i plan on getting mugen front lip and sideskirts and Mugen MF10 knockoff rims, but that's going to be the extent of the JDM shit that I do. Getting a JDM radio that isn't going to work with any US frequencies and not even knowing for sure if the navi will work or not is going too far.

Were you the one that wanted CTR carpet too???

Of course, this is all just IMO.

BTW: No matter how hard you try, your car will never be a JDM Civic unless you are sitting on the right hand side while driving.

Reprogramming his radio to US frequencies shouldn’t be a problem. It’s just the getting everything to work like it belongs there would be tough. ($$$$)

As for the JDM fanboy stuff, to each his own.

I can't believe this! Since when is having pride in your car Gay. It's a Japanese car right. Why not do your best to convert it to Japanese specs. Everyone is so quick to shit on people who pay the extra money for spoon wheels vice Rota's. How about having some pride in your vehicle. Nothing against Rota, I'm a big fan, but I love seeing cars that were loved enuf to have Recaro seats and mugen wheels put on them, instead of rota C8's and Tenzo seats.

I dump money into authentic JDM parts too. For all the other JDM fans out there. Keep doing what your doing, and don't let the few ignorant senior members get you down!

JDM!
