puting a 1L suzuki engine in a firefly

hay, this is my 1st post so ya, hi all

my origonal engine = 3cyl. G10 1.0L TBI
the 2nd engine was also a 3cyl. G10 1.0L TBI
the 3rd engine is a 3cyl. G10 1.0L Carb dual cam

anyway
i got a pontiac Firefly and i killed the engine when i was offroading and hit a huge puddle/lake lol, so i finaly got a new engine but it died 3 days after i put it in. the connecting rod smashed threw the engine block. so i bought a sprint off some old people down the street and the engine in it is some suzuki somthin dual cam so now im exited i spent 3 days swaping parts between cars to make my firefly worth $5. so i get the engine in tranny is all set i fire it up and smoke shoots out the carb, and its runing like sh... poop...

after lengthy trouble shooting, changine the sparkplugs witch where coverd in oil, i cant find the low idle skrew witch hapens to be at the very rear of the carb, so i just took the whole thing off to adjust the low idel couse i can t fit any screwdivers back there, turns out some one made up a gasket for the carb and it was cloging all the breather ports n stuff inside the carb

the suzuki engine has a mechanical fuel pump, witch i figured would work ok altho i have a electronic fuel pump in the tank but i guess this added to my problem, the electronic fuel pump pushes 30psi and the mechanical pump sux 5 i think so there was a slight conflict of intrest there, not i gota wait 3-4 days for some guy to ship a gasket to me, ill have to mod my fuel system but ill keep yall posted

im still not convinced my fire'ing order is right ( 1, 3, 2) my 1 is nearest the rear the car, and a sprint book i have says 1 is nearest the bottom of the car.
1 being the 1st cyl fireing position on the dist. cap

relpy please: thx for your help
has any one else done this engine swap? tips and trix welcome
whats the fireing order on a older suzuki engine?
