back break problems
ok, dropped the truck off to g-ma for the weekend to put suade on the doors and what not, and now, i barly touch the breaks and my back wheels lock up, fully lock, is it a master cylender? air? any ideas befour i start pulling things apart

no, it was later in the afternoon/ early evening and a dry day, however the weekend was wet

Yea, a little dampness in the rear breaks will make them a little sensitive.

Check and make sure you dont have any brake fluid leaks from the rear wheel cylinder (if you have rear drums that is) Brake fluid on the brakes will cause them to lock up real easy.

blazer, fireplug, thanks for your help, ill check the (yes drums) sometime this week, it hasnt been a problem in 2 days and sunday was the first time, thanks for the advice

Yea, your rear brakes were damp, it happens every time it rains here too and when it dries up, I never have a problem.
Don't even worry about looking at them. |
