Progress: wide bodied Camaro race car

I was going to build this car stock but decided to build the race car version.I will make it my own version. Some of the race parts it came with include the the bumper, flares, rims, headers, side exhaust, racing seat, carbs, and a 4 point rollcage.I made a better cage, and some of the things I will be adding include an indash fire extinguisher, a window mesh, a gas tank (inside),and I will also be wiring the engine.Below are some progress pics. And I need your opinions on the wing.I have 3 choice's, the factory, the race car, or a custom.

Race Wing

Stock Wing

I have no idea what to do for a custom wing idea.

Looks great besides the weird narrow tires. And go with the stock wing, that race one... well... snowplow is right.

For some reasone those were the only tire's that came with the kit but luck for me I have a few spare tire's and I will use the different tire's.

definately the stock wing, or even a GT wing would be an improvement on that trough.

I think wings are supposed to help you go faster, but that thing would just slow you down.

Stock wing. That race thing is not a wing!
Also open up those front holes. And some lowering might be needed.

Looking good!

I plan on opening all the hole's (if I can) including the mesh one's and I will put real mesh. And about lowering it, there's no chance since the new tire's I'm using are very close to the fenders.

Slight update.I have opened up the grill's on the car to give it a more realistic look and I will be putting mesh behind the openings. The car does not have it's flares on which is why the wheels stick out.Below are also the tire's I will be using. On the left is the front tire, in the middle is the rear tire, and on the right is the tire's that came with the kit.

Re: Progress: wide bodied Camaro race car

Custom wing little bigger than the stock wing molded in with the trunk and fenders.

Re: Progress: wide bodied Camaro race car

Nice carbs. The race wing, that's a snowplow. Put it on the front of the car. j/k.
