Problems getting it started
I have an 1984 Jeep Cherokee with a 4cyl engine. I just dropped a new motor in my jeep and it won't turn over. I had the starter tested and it works fine, the celanoid is in working order too. I checked out the wiring and it all looks good as well. It's not that the motor won't turn, it seems I'm not even getting any power to the starter because it's not kicking in either. Like I said the celanoid seems to work too. I've been banging my head off a wall for 3 days trying to figure this one out, and I keep hitting a brick wall. I need help ASAP. Is there anyone that might know where to start?

Hi Dale. Thanks for answering. There is a click from the cel. on the inner well next to battery, but it seems that I'm not getting any current to the starter from the cel. Could it be just a bad wire from the cel to the starter?
