tie dye paint help
Hey guys.I need to paint a tie dye effect on a white base on my tamiya mini with either an airbrush or spray cans. The pattern needs to be similar to the 60's usa desktop on windows. Does anyone have any ideas on how i can do this?

Re: tie dye paint help
I don't know the exact pattern since I looked for that on my desktop and apperently I don't have it, but this may help.
It might be similar to a techniqe I saw where the body was submerged in water and a non-acrylic paint was floated on the surface and swirled around. When the body was pulled out, the paint stuck to the body in that pattern. Dave |

try black gold marbalizer...awesome stuff...kinda looks like tye dye. Be sure to use a pearl paint...marbalizer then saran wrap then clear...badass! I just completed a VIP Toyota Aristo with it...good stuff...try it out!
