flaming q
Ive got an andiobahn flaming q 12 inch and i was wondering if the box needs to be ported. i have a bigass box, its like 24x17x17 and that def is gay because i only have one sub and it is only made for one sub so i was thinking about a plexiglass sub box, what you guys think about that, the box is 15x15x10.5

Re: flaming q
I doubt plexiglass will be strong enough. If you want to build a new box use fiberglass or if you want it to be clear, lexan.

aye, lexan is some tough stuff. my dad used to work for a shop that worked with the stuff, and from what he says, banks and pawn shops use 3/4" lexan to stop high-velocity assult weapon rounds on safety windows. building a sub-box out of 1 1/4" lexan, besides being hella expensive, would create one monsterously strong sub box.
ye-haw.
