Re: 90-93 Short Shifter

Ebay sells them dirt cheap, but they are aluminum and will rattle. I would have a shop custom cut yours. Keep in mind, you have to extend the bottom half of the shifter to shorten the throw.

On a different note. Why the FUCK was I banned. Has any one seen this post about Niggers? Who is running AF now? I come back to find myself banned and some faggot posting racial slurs.

Re: 90-93 Short Shifter

I have 89 teg. and I saw some pix where guy regrinded the ball and fitted it into 88 teg. So I would like to do the same, but I don't know if alum shifter is filled inside or it hollow?

I will try to find some pictures of the work.

yeah the aluminum ones are crap, mine is not aluminum, it is steel and I paid 20 brand new so you just have to look and read the descriptions.

They are hollow. On on different subject, (not to hijack your thread) anyone know why I was banned? How do I contact a mod?

Re: 90-93 Short Shifter

Keep in mind, the cheap ones on ebay are kind of generic, so they will rattle. I got one for $15 then packed the inside of the bearings with thick grease, and filled the gap on the linkage pin with a nylon bushing. Now it doesn't rattle and the shifting is awesome. probably %30-40 shorter.
