94-95 mustang GT vs. civic si

I was in traffic today and i heard a V8 rev to about 4 or 5 thousand rpms behind me. I didnt know what it was until it pulled up beside me. It was a green 94-95 bodystyle GT with a 5.0. He had huge tires in back and a big tach on his dash and some wierd rear sunstrip that i couldnt read. We couldnt get a light, so when traffic opened up he was behind me and we both gunned it. I put some distance between us, and slowed for traffic. My turn came up and he was following me so i pulled into the left lane and he pulled into the right after the the turn. We started from about 40 mph so i dropped into 2nd. Since it was wide open road from there on out, i kept goin to about 95-100. He was about 2 carlengths behind when i hit the flashers. he was pissed too. He hit his steering wheel and pulled a flyby when i got into the turn lane.

It turns out he followed me just to race because he took the next turn and turned around and came back the other direction while i was still in the turn lane

If only i could do the same against my friends 2000 GT

Uhhh...What happened here? First, the 94+ style Mustangs don't have a 5.0, a 4.6 instead. That was a casual mistake though, no harm done. However, I am wondering how you managed to beat him at all...Maybe driver ability, and you just plain outdrove him, that's definately possible. Or maybe you have a mod you didn't list Just curious, b/c you actually should lose this racer pretty handily

actually they didnt get the 4.6 until 96

notice how the badges on the sides just say mustang GT instead of GT 4.6

and the 5.0 in 94-95 was rated at something like 230 hp so its quite possible that it happened. I was able to hang with my friends 95 cobra when it was stock until about 60 when he would pull away pretty quick.

then he got a 99 cobra and it was a whole other story

surosis what do you drive id like to know. The term ricer is not an endearing one. in fact, its quite offensive to be put in the same category as the high school kids running around in DXs revving on cobras, just because they have washer nozzle lights and an APC universal GTR wing.
If i was you id get my shit straight before i go around talking shit to people hiding behind a screen. did you get beat by a civic or something?

personally i hope a mod locks your shit out but what can i do right?

I forgot what class the Civic falls into again? Would it be the 16 year old girls first car class?

okay when someone says what they DONT drive instead of telling us what they DO drive its a pretty good sign they DONT drive anything at all. also he doesnt list his birthday, probably cuz hes 13 or so, judging by the maturity and intelligence in his posts.

im sure an "underachieving civic" would smoke XSuROsIOX's huffy any day

tell us what u drive, or stop talking shit about cars that are better than the car (by car i mean pair of nike's) u own.

calling people stupid names and being a dick in general wont get u repect from anyone, domestic or import. i know u think youre cool by doing that, but youre wrong. if u dont like hondas, why are u in the honda forum? cuz u have no life and nothing better to do right? that is probably because u have no car and have to ask mommy for a ride every time u wanna go to the mall right? grow up kid, display a little intelligence in your posts and maybe somebody will listen to u.
